Getting Serious
I started high school weighing about 115 pounds. I started trying to lose weight after gaining my first five pounds. Since then, it has been an annoying struggle. I will gain 5 pounds, lose 3 pounds, gain 10 pounds, lose 7 pounds. It’s coming up on my 21st birthday now, and I currently weigh 150.4 pounds. Arounds Christmas time, I reached my all-time heaviest of 159.5 pounds (which I was not happy about). It’s time that I really get serious. My goal weight is 125 pounds. Also, I have signed up to run in a 1/2 marathon (13.2 miles) on August 9th. I’m getting a little bit closer to both of these goals, but I still have a long way to go….so I need all the support I can get!
I’ve done the same thing. Started 120, then to 140, down to 112, up to 150, and now going down again. It’s so hard to stay motivated eh! But one day at a time, and eventually we will get there.
You can do it! Just have faith in yourself and remember your goals! I have to tell myself this every day! Haha!
